About Oliver: I have been a part of No Answer Theatre Company since it was “crazy play ideas from Joz’s head”, and have been acting for well over 9 years of my life. Possibly not from my first role as second policeman in “Sweeney Todd” the musical at the tender age of 9 , but from the next year in “Around the World in 1000 Years”, where I performed songs as “Deep Voice” and “Guy Fawkes,” I knew acting was the life for me. Since then I have been performing nearly non stop, being involved in Stage Coach before Stage 65, typically being cast as the bad guy or the grump.
My most treasured roles have been;
Macduff where I was commended by the Journal for my moving performance, a truly challenging role for me in which I played a distraught hero. It was also fun due to the fight training we received for our battle scenes.
Albert the Horse, my first real comedy role (though he was depressed) again receiving commended recognition of my performance here.
Most recently with my role of Fagin in Stage 65′s “Oliver!” Having performed the musical previously with school and being a minor role this was a confidence boost for me as I never thought I could sing or take on such a part but I have been assured this was well done. Fagin has to be my favourite role in my career so far.
